Kevin began drum majoring in California at the age of 14. He is also a successful tenor drummer and bass drummer, having played in Grade 1 with the Los Angeles Scots and the 78th Fraser Highlanders.
Some of Kevin's favorite accomplishments include his first Canadian championship in the presence of HRH Prince Andrew The Duke of York; winning the North American Championships at Maxville both as a Drum Major and Grade 1 bandsman; the US championship at Pleasanton; numerous RSPBA major championship finals including the Worlds; and the honor of being Senior Drum Major for Tattoo Hebrides at Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, that was nationally televised on BBC for Homecoming Scotland in 2009.
He is presently an adjudicator in the Western United States Pipe Band Association, and actively teaches throughout the western region of the continent.
Kevin travels up from Phoenix, Arizona to be part of the DTSPB team. Outside of pipe band, Kevin works as a cyber incident analyst, holding an Information Security MBA with distinction, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Forensics. He is also an auxiliary staff officer in the United States Coast Guard.
