Craig is from New Westminster, British Columbia. He began playing the pipes at age nine with the Robert Malcolm Memorial Pipe Band, placing 2nd with the band at the 2007 World Pipe Band Championships in juvenile. He joined Dowco Triumph Street in the fall of 2007 and is proud to have competed with the band at the World Championships every year since.
Outside of the competition circle, some of his piping career highlights include numerous performances at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games, in particular at the medal ceremony for men's curling moments after Team Canada won Gold, representing Canada at the 2010 Beijing International Tourism Festival, and performing at the 2012 Pipes of Peace Concert at the Clyde Auditorium in Glasgow. He also has fond memories of winning the 2005 Swiss Solo Piping Championship.
Craig is an avid curler and is currently completing a Bachelor of Science at Simon Fraser University majoring in Industrial Mathematics.
