Welcome to the official website of the Dowco Triumph Street Pipe Band - a Grade One competitive and concert pipe band based in Greater Vancouver, B.C. Canada. The Dowco Triumph Street Pipe Band is the present title holder of the Grade 2 North American Pipe Band Championship and the Grade 2 BC Pipers’ Association Grand Aggregate Award. Wearing the MacLean of Duart Weathered Tartan, the 40-member band is led by Pipe Major David Hilder, Lead Drummer Andre Tessier, and Pipe Sergeant Shaunna Hilder, and includes award-winning pipers and drummers from B.C., Washington, California, Utah, and Denmark. The majority of  D-TSPB members won the 2006 Grade 2 World Pipe Band Championship, as RMM2. The Dowco Triumph Street Pipe Band is proud to be sponsored by The Dowco Group of Companies. The band is also sponsored, in part, by Odlum Brown and McCallum Bagpipes. St. Patrick’s Day Fundraiser 
WINNING WEEKEND IN COSTA MESA 5/26/08 - USS Scottish Festival The Dowco Triumph Street Pipe Band made its Grade One outdoor competition debut at the USS Scottish Festival in Costa Mesa, California, on the US Memorial Day weekend. The sunny, but cool, weather allowed the bands to bring their “best game” to the field. In Saturday’s Grade One Medley contest, Triumph Street came second to the LA Scots Pipe Band. On Sunday, in the MSR contest, the results switched, and Dowco Triumph Street Pipe Band were the winners! The Best Grade One Drum Corps was won by DTSPB in both the Medley and MSR competitions. Congratulations to all, and special thanks to the USS Scottish Festival games organizers! Solo kudos go to first place winners Lauren MacRitchie (Open Tenor), Scott Wood (Grade 1 Piobaireachd), and Tyler Wood (Grade 2 Drum). A RETURN TO HOVANDER PARK! 6/7/08 - Ferndale, Washington On Saturday, June 7th, 2008, the Bellingham Highland Games returned to Hovander Park, the crowd’s favorite games venue in the Pacific Northwest. Bands crowded together under the trees once again. The rain thankfully gave way to sunshine, as usual. And the bands played. WALK TO CURE DIABETES 6/8/08 - Greater Vancouver Zoo The Dowco Triumph Street Pipe Band midsection participated in the Telus Walk to Cure Diabetes to show their support for band member Graeme Mack. The team, named “Graeme’s Girls”, was joined by other drum corps members and family. SONS OF SCOTLAND
6/14/08 - Tsawwassen, B.C. The Dowco Triumph Street Pipe Band was proud to perform at the Sons of Scotland Highland Games on Saturday, June 14th, in Tsawwassen, B.C. There have been some lean years for the Sons of Scotland Highland Games, and we want these Games to flourish and grow. As supporters of our local community, and the local hard working people who host a Scottish Event, we hope our presence sent them a message of support. Thanks to everyone who volunteered countless hours to stage these Highland Games! And, wonder of wonders...the sun shone on the games! What a great day!
